    Day 01. Arrival / Athens.

    Arrival at the Athens airport, welcome assistance and transfer to the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight in Athens.

    Day 02. City tour / on cruise.

    A morning well spent to explore the city of Athens. A panoramic tour will take you to see the most important monuments and landmarks of the city including the Panathinaikon stadium, the Zappeion, the temple of Olympian Zeus, Hadrian's Arch, Syntagma square, the Parliament, the tomb of the unknown soldier, Schliemann's house, the Academy, the University, the National Library, and the old Parliament. You will then visit the Acropolis, including the Propylae, the temple of Athena Nike, the Parthenon, and the Erechtheion. You will then be transferred to the port of Piraeus to embark on “Celestyal Cruises” for your 7-night “3 Continents” cruise.

    Day 03. On cruise

    A whole day cruising. Great opportunity to enjoy the facilities of the cruise ship and participate on the various activities and shows on board.

    Day 04. Cairo (Port Said) - Egypt / on cruise

    This morning we will be reaching the African continent at Port Said in Egypt. Opportunity for a full-day tour to Cairo, to explore the Pyramids and the unique archaeological museum.

    Day 05. Ashdod – Israel / on cruise

    Arrival in the morning at the port of Ashdod. A whole day at the Holy Land may be well spend by choosing to visit Via Dolorosa, Gethsemane, temple Mount and the church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem, and the church of the Nativity and Manger square in Bethlehem. Alternatively you may opt for an excursion to Jaffa and the cosmopolitan Tel Aviv. At night, we set sail to Cyprus

    Day 06. Limassol – Cyprus / on cruise

    Before mid-day you will be arriving at Limassol. You may join a variety of excursion to see Limassol, ancient city of Curium, Pafos the city of Unesco, or the wine village of Omodos. Late in the afternoon, we will set sail for Rhodes

    Day 07. Rhodes - Greece / on cruise

    Around mid-day you will be arriving at the island of the knights. You may explore the citadel of the Knights (Rhodes’ old town) on your own, or join an excursion on a “Medieval” tour, which will also take you to visit the magnificent Acropolis of Lindos.

    Day 08. Kusadasi – Turkey / on cruise

    Early morning arrival at Kusadasi in Turkey. Opportunity for optional excursion to “Ancient Ephesus through the Ages”. Make sure you explore the local bazar in Kusadasi and bargain for your souvenirs! Return on board for the overnight sail back to Athens.

    Day 09. Piraeus / Athens.

    Arrival at Piraeus port early in the morning. Breakfast on board. Disembarkation and transfer to your hotel in Athens.

    Day 10. At leisure / Athens

    A day to relax and to explore on your own the historical center of the city, Plaka and Monastiraki.

    Day 11. Corinth canal, Epidaurus, Nafplion, Mycenae / Olympia

    Today you begin your classical Greece tour, seeing Corinth canal, visiting Epidaurus, Mycenae and Nafplion, and concluding at Olympia for overnight.

    Day 12. Olympia / Delphi

    In the morning you will explore the ancient Olympia complex, home of the original Olympic games, and visit the local museum with the impressive statue of Hermes of Praxitelis. In the afternoon you journey to Delphi for overnight.

    Day 13. Delphi / Athens

    Explore the biggest pilgrimage center of antiquity, home of Pythia (the oracle), walk the Sacred way and visit the local museum with the famous bronze statue of the Charioteer. Travel back to Athens in the afternoon.

    Day 14. Departure

    Transfer to the airport for your return flight home.

    Terms and conditions for the $80 included discount:

    • It is valid only for pre-bookable shore excursions and cannot be used against other services.
    • Must be used latest 48 hours prior to embarkation. Thereafter, the discount is no longer valid and cannot be used on board
    • The Discount has no monetary value, is non-refundable and non-transferable. No cash or credit alternative is offered.
    • Can be combined with any other special offer by Celestyal, unless otherwise specified.
    • It is applicable for shore excursions of equal, greater or lower value:
      • If the discount has a greater value than the value of the excursion, the remaining value can be used for an alternative excursion provided its used within the timeframe stipulated above.
      • If the Discount is lower than the value of the excursion, the Guest will pay the difference in price.

    Booking terms and cancellation policy (as set by the cruise line):

    • For all bookings received 49 days or more prior to departure, a USD 350 deposit per cabin booked, is required within 7 working days of the date that the booking was received
    • For all bookings received between 30 days and 49 days prior to departure, a USD 350 deposit per cabin booked, is required within 3 working days of the date that the booking was received.
    • Bookings that are received within less than 30 days from departure, require immediate payment in full.
    • For cancellations received more than 90 days prior to departure, an administration fee of USD 60 will be charged.
    • For cancellations received between 89 and 30 days prior to departure, the deposit will be lost.
    • For cancellations received within less than 30 days prior to departure, full charges apply.

    Notes:

    1. Above rates have been calculated based on Euro/USD (buying) exchange rate of 1 Euro = 1.05 USD. In case of substantial changes in exchange rates (more than 2%), rates will have to be recalculated and confirmed at the time of booking.
    2. Entrance/admission fees to various sites and museums are set by the Greek government, and in case of change, prices will be adjusted accordingly. Currently included entrance fees are based on rates valid as of November 1st 2019.
    3. Above rates include VAT (13% for transportation & meals, and 24% for all other services). In case of change of VAT, prices will be adjusted accordingly.
    4. Celestyal cruises reserves the right to impose fuel surcharge (not included in above rates) as follows:

    - US$ 4 pppd, should the price of Platts Gasoil 0.1%S CIF Med cargo exceed US$ 700/ton

    - US$ 8 pppd, should the price of Platts Gasoil 0.1%S CIF Med cargo exceed US$ 850/ton

    - US$ 10 pppd, should the price of Platts Gasoil 0.1%S CIF Med cargo exceed US$ 1000/ton

    - US$ 14 pppd, should the price of Platts Gasoil 0.1%S CIF Med cargo exceed US$ 1150/ton

    1. Guiding during SIC tours/excursions may occasionally be bi-lingual (English – French).
    2. An “overnight stay” tax is applicable to all accommodations in Greece. This tax, is charged on a per room per night basis and amounts to € 0,50 for 1*-2* hotels, € 1,50 for 3* hotels, € 3,00 for 4* hotels, and € 4,00 for 5* hotels. This tax is NOT included in our rates and should be paid locally on the spot by the clients.
